HOT TUB & SAUNA
ALPINE QUESTS CHATEL accept no liability for personal injuries or accidents whilst using any of the chalet facilities.
Misuse of the hot tub will mean it will be shut down and out of action. Children under the age of 14 who wish to use the facilities MUST always be supervised by an adult (18 years and over).
FOOD (Catered)
Two evenings in the week all guests will be required to eat out at a restaurant, (no catered service these two evenings) to be paid for by the client (not Alpine Quests Chatel). We can recommend restaurants and reserve them for you. Or guests can use the chalet kitchen/facilities on condition that everything is clean and in order for the next morning. ALPINE QUESTS CHATEL accept no liability for personal injuries or accidents whilst using any of the chalet facilities/kitchen. Children’s meals are 2 courses, served at an earlier time to the adults and different to adult food, unless special arrangements have been made at the time of your booking. People with food allergies and those who need ‘specialist foods’ must inform us at the time of the booking. Though we will to accommodate you, it may not be possible to obtain ‘specialist foods/produce’ you require, therefore we strongly advise you bring items you need need with you. We do cater for Vegan diets.
Tourist Tax of €1.50 per day is also collected at the time of your Balance by Alpine Quests Chatel on behalf of the Châtel Mairie. Under 18’s are exempt.
CANCELLATION (by you)
If you wish to cancel your booking after we have accepted it, the person who signed the booking form (or made the booking) must send signed instructions immediately to ALPINE QUESTS, by recorded delivery to the following address:

Cancellation takes effect on the date we receive your letter. If you cancel after we have confirmed your booking, we will take a ‘Cancellation Charge’ as shown below:
70 days or more before travel: Loss of full deposit
69 – 63 days before travel: 50% of total booking price
62 – 49 days before travel: 70% of total booking price
48 – 29 days before travel: 80% of total booking price
28 – 15 days before travel: 90% of total booking price
14 – 0 days before travel: 100% of total booking price
These charges reflect our estimated loss as a result of dealing with your booking, to the point of cancellation and any other losses we may have to pay. If you wish to change your booking, we will do our up most to fit another date to suit you. If the amended date is a lesser price ALPINE QUESTS CHATEL reserve the right to retain the higher price booking fee. If the price is higher, we will require the extra fee prior to your holiday. If this is not agreed ALPINE QUESTS CHATEL will follow the ‘Cancellation Charge’ shown above.
COVID-19
If the French government and your country’s government close the boarders between France and your country due to non-essential travel, you will need to revert to the use of your own insurance. Alpine Quests Châtel will not make refunds.
INSURANCE AND TRAVEL
ALPINE QUESTS CHATEL recommend you take out adequate insurance cover well before your travel date. Holiday/Travel/Medical/Winter/Summer sports insurance is, essential. You need to ensure that your cover takes effect prior to your travel date and covers the full holiday period. ALPINE QUESTS CHATEL do not supply insurance cover.
A valid insurance, passport and/or visas are the client’s responsibility. ALPINE QUESTS CHATEL will not except any responsibility for clients travel arrangements, road hold ups, road diversions, clients personal well being, possessions, hired equipment, lost lift passes, any booked lessons, booked trips, adverse weather conditions, avalanche, landslides, floods, volcanic disruption, too little or too much snow, war, riots, civil action, strikes, terrorism, fire, industrial disputes, global/world disruption, any technical problems or events taking place or happening/happened beyond their control. ALPINE QUESTS CHATEL will not pay compensation.
